With a total investment of 74.6 million USD, SSB is a China largest and professional producer specializing in series of products of automotive air conditioning system and compressor.

SSB has successively won many honorable titles such as "National May 1st Labor Award", "National Advanced Enterprise with High Quality and Profit ", First “Modernized Management Enterprise in China's Mechanical Industry", "Advanced Enterprise in National Customer’s Satisfaction Project ", "National Advanced Unit in Publishing Plant Affairs", "China’s Enterprise with AAA Grade Credit in Quality and Service", "PR-A Grade in Performance Evaluation", "Excellent Enterprise in Shanghai's Industry", "Dual Excellent Foreigner-Invested Enterprise in Shanghai", and "Shanghai Model Unit ". On the basis of the compressor (such as PXE compressor) manufacturing technology introduced from overseas countries, SSB pays much attention to technology digesting and absorbing, and actively advocates the self-innovation. Until now, SSB has developed the fixed displacement wobble plate type compressor, fixed placement swash plate type compressor, internal control variable displacement compressor, external control variable displacement compressor, and environmental protection type compressor supplied for new energy-powered vehicles. The compressor displacement ranges from 60cc to 330cc covering 7 categories, 31 series and more than 500 types of compressors. SSB has developed the capabilities of developing products simultaneously with the domestic vehicle producers and assembling parts module. The products are mainly supplied for SAIC group, FAW group, Dongfeng PSA group, Beijing DaimlerChrysler, and Chery Automobile etc. The products domestic market share is 50%, meanwhile, the products are exported to 32 countries and regions.

As the deputy chairman unit of China Automotive Air Conditioning Industry Association, SSB is actively promoting the development of China's domestic air conditioning industry, leading the perfection of the national and industrial standards of the automotive air conditioning. SSB has independently made one national standard and 3 industrial standards, and actively advocates the construction of intellectual property rights system. Until now, SSB has applied 151 pieces of national patents and 1 international patent, including 42 pieces of inventive patents.
